SOLAR DECATHLON

The Solar Decathlon is an international competition involving Polytechnic Universities from around the world. The goal is to design, build, and test sustainable, energy-self-sufficient housing modules of the future. In 2018, Dubai hosted the construction phase. The University of Rome "La Sapienza" sought our collaboration for the design and construction of the futuristic "Solar House," a building made with XLAM technology. We guided the students through this exciting journey, from the initial project to installation, first in Pomezia for a simulation, then on-site in Dubai. It was a unique educational experience for the students and a valuable opportunity for us to strengthen our ties with the academic world.
