CHIESA PARROCHIALE SAN GIOVANNI II
Perugia

This complex was designed to unite two small parishes into a single place of worship and community gathering. In addition to the church, the building houses a civic center, catechism rooms, and welcoming spaces, serving as a key reference point for local community life. Architect Marciani designed the liturgical hall with two pairs of large intersecting arches supporting a central XLAM lantern, featuring a skylight that allows natural light to filter in, creating an evocative and intimate atmosphere. The imposing shapes and dynamic volumes convey a sense of stability, openness, and communion, making this space a true symbol of faith and connection.
